Despite the low costs of our hosting packages we have included a great range of extra features as standard!

As well as high capacities and generous bandwidth amounts we also offer many value added features, software and tools.

To help beginners we've listed many of our hosting features below along with a plain English, jargon free description of what they are!

Pay Monthly

Our hosting packages are charged on a monthly or yearly basis starting from just £2.50 per month. There is no VAT or hidden extras to add to this and you can pay using any major credit or debit card.

Pay Yearly

Our hosting packages can also be paid for yearly. If you pay yearly we reward you with two months free every single year! You can pay using any major credit or debit card if you wish to pay yearly. We also accept cheque payments for yearly accounts.

Disk Space

We offer disk space from from 500mb up to a huge 10 GB to suit the size of your website. This is the amount of space you can use use to store your website files and images. You can upload your files using any FTP software or FrontPage.

Bandwidth

Every time someone visits your website they will use some of your data transfer allowance. For example if one of your web pages is 10 kilobytes in size (KB) and the images that are on that page are 90 KB then if someone visits your page they will use 100 KB of data. Your data transfer allowance is in megabytes (MB)

Domains Hosted

We can split your web space and bandwidth between a number of fully hosted domains allowing you to have more than one fully hosted website and domain on your account. Please check the amount of hosted domains allocated to each package to make sure you can host the correct amount of separate websites you need.

You can also have unlimited domain aliases pointing to your website (for example if you want to have multiple domains pointing to the same website)

If you require a specific number of hosted domains (for instance you are a web designer and need to host your client's sites) please contact us for a bespoke quote.

Free WebMail

We offer one of the most powerful and flexible WebMail systems. Features include your own address book, search features, customisable interface and scheduling. This feature can be used in conjunction with Mail Boxes.

Mail Boxes

This feature allows you to add mail boxes to your account. A mail box stores mail on our server until you download it using an email client like Outlook Express. We provide both POP3 and IMAP mailboxes in addition to a SMTP outgoing server.

Auto Responders

This feature allows an email address on your account to automatically respond with a specific message.

Mailing Lists

Email distribution lists allow you to have a simple form on your website with which your users can subscribe or unsubscribe their email address. You can then send an email to all members of the list using our simple system.

Mail Forwarding

This feature allows you to forward any email address @yourdomain.co.uk to any email address you choose, for example a hotmail or yahoo.com address. You can forward each address to up to three different addresses.

Catch-All E-mail

This feature allows you to forward ALL email from yourdomain.co.uk to any email address you choose, for example a hotmail or yahoo.com address.

Junk Mail Filters

Junk mail filters use special technology to strip out junk mail before you receive it. This feature also allows you to set an address to send the junk mail to so that you can check this address to ensure that only junk mail is being caught.

Error Logs

This feature allows you to download your server access log as a zip file. You can then manipulate the file locally on your computer to get any specific data you need.

Webalizer Statistics

Webalizer is a highly powerful and easily configurable web site statistics package that analyses the access log files that we automatically create for your website.

AWStatistics

AWStats is a powerful and fully featured tool that generates advanced graphical web server statistics.

Counters

This feature allows you to add a plain text or graphical counter to your Website. You also get a full set of statistics for the page the counter is on.

Master FTP

FTP allows you to transfer your website onto our server.

Additional FTP Accounts

Additional FTP accounts are most commonly used to give others access to an account for the purpose of sharing a web development project, without giving them control over the entire Website. By restricting their access to their home directory, you can ensure they can only modify files within this particular space.

Sub Domains

Sub domains allow you to have new web addresses for separate areas of your Website. For example you could have support.yourdomain.co.uk and point this at your yourdomain.co.uk/support/ directory. You can use sub domains in conjunction with additional FTP accounts, creating in effect simple hosting accounts with a sub domain and an additional FTP account.

SSH Server Access

SSH server access allows you to login directly to the server hosting your Website. You can manipulate your website files using Linux commands. This feature is for advanced users.

MySQL Databases

MySQL is a true multi-user, multi-threaded SQL (Structured Query Language) database server. SQL is the most popular database language in the world. MySQL is a client/server implementation that consists of a server daemon (mysqld) and many different client programs and libraries.

MySQL Web Interface

You can access your MySQL database using the web-based phpMyAdmin software.

Control Panel

Managing your web hosting account is simplicity itself using our control panel. You can setup e-mail accounts, FTP accounts, access Web Builder, view website statistics, install scripts and software and access your files. It is very simple to use and includes a searchable support section.

Website Builder

Our Website Builder is a free, fully featured Website-building tool designed to let anyone create professional, multi-page Websites. It features vibrant, professional designs and pre-built templates to speed your website development.

Website Builder Plus

Website Builder Plus uses the latest in Web Builder technology to create a dynamic and vibrant site with no technical expertise. It features over 500 great templates to ensure your site will have a custom and professional feel! You can add blogs and photo galleries and can be tested free of charge online. FrontPage Extensions

If you have used Microsoft FrontPage to design your website you will need to install the Microsoft FrontPage Extensions to use all the features. This can be installed and uninstalled easily from our control panel.

File Manager

Our file manager has a great range of features to help you manage your files and folders online.

Basic Search Engine Submission

Submit your site to 10 search engines including Google, Yahoo and MSN free of charge! We also offer a more advanced search engine submission service where we submit your website pages to 500+ search engines every month for just £2.50 per month!

Scheduled Tasks

This feature enables a program to run automatically on the server and can set your program to run hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.

Domain Forwarding

You can add extra domain names to point to your website!

PHP4 and PHP5

Full support including the most commonly used modules for Perl, PHP and Python.
